Have suggestions for OctoStudio?

OctoStudio is still being developed, and we are excited to continue exploring new possibilities. OctoStudio is focused on a smaller number of features that can fit on the smaller screen size of mobile phones, while providing access to physical features of mobile devices (such as built-in sensors).

OctoStudio currently doesn’t have any of the following features:

• “Costumes” or different animation frames for a sprite

• Painting your own backdrops

• Online community for sharing projects

• User accounts

• Importing sounds

• Clone blocks

• “Repeat until” block

We encourage you to explore creative alternatives— such as taking a photo of a hand-drawn backdrop, recording your own sounds, duplicating sprites, and sending projects to friends. Instead of animating with costumes, you can try using the show and hide blocks to switch between different sprites.
